Integrations: Analytics
Google Search Console
integration
Connect Search Console and Passionfruit reads every query and page you appear for, segments them, and measures each change against how you show up in Google.
How the Google Search Console integration works
01Connect with your Google account
Sign in with Google and choose the property. Access is read-only.
02Segment every query
Queries are split into branded, non-branded and questions, with clicks, impressions, CTR and position for each.
03Find what is moving
Pages and queries that are gaining or slipping are surfaced daily, and joined to GA4 revenue where it is connected.
04Turn it into work
Findings become action items, and each shipped change is measured against the Search Console data that prompted it.
Key benefits
- First-party numbers
- Rankings and clicks from Google itself, not a third-party estimate.
- Non-branded growth made visible
- See the demand you are winning beyond your own brand name.
- Declines caught early
- Slipping pages and queries flagged before they cost you traffic.
- Every change measured
- Before-and-after results for titles, content and technical fixes.
Data and access
- Read-only
- Passionfruit reads performance data through the Search Console API. It cannot change settings, submit removals or manage users.
- Your properties only
- We read only the properties you choose to connect.
- Revoke any time
- Remove access from your Google account permissions whenever you choose.
Questions
Do we need a domain property or a URL-prefix property?
Either works. A domain property gives the most complete view across subdomains and protocols.
Can Passionfruit see data from before we connected?
Yes. Search Console keeps about 16 months of history, and we read what is available when you connect.
Does this replace our rank tracker?
For your own site, Search Console is the source of truth. Market-wide and competitor data comes from our marketing intelligence integrations.
