Integrations: CMS
Shopify
integration
Connect Shopify and action items move straight into your store: product, collection and blog changes prepared in the place your team already works.
How the Shopify integration works
01Connect your store
Install the connection from your Shopify admin and approve the access it asks for.
02Read your catalog
Products, collections, pages and blog posts are read so recommendations match what is actually live.
03Prepare the change
Product copy, attributes, collection intros, metadata and new articles are prepared inside Shopify.
04Publish your way
Your team publishes on Intelligence; on Managed Service our team does, automatically only with your consent.
Key benefits
- No copy and paste
- Recommendations become store changes without moving text between tools.
- Product data engines can read
- Attributes, descriptions and structured data kept complete on every product.
- Collections that rank
- Collection intros and metadata written for the queries that drive orders.
Data and access
- Your team stays in control
- Access is granted from your Shopify account and can be revoked there at any time.
- Self-serve on Intelligence
- On Intelligence, your team uses the connection to move action items into Shopify faster, and publishes on its own schedule.
- Managed on Managed Service
- On Managed Service, our team handles publishing and updates for you. Changes are published automatically only with your consent; otherwise they wait for your approval.
Questions
Will this change our theme?
No theme changes are made without your approval. Most work is content, metadata and product data.
Can we turn off automatic publishing?
Yes. Automatic publishing only happens if you consent to it, and you can withdraw that at any time.
Does it work with headless Shopify?
Yes for catalog and content data. Front-end changes on a headless build are coordinated with your developers.
